A skill is a directory with SKILL.md at its root. References, scripts, tests, and agent metadata use relative paths, so extract the entire directory into your agent's skills location. Review the visible files first and follow the platform's own skill-loading instructions.

Know what you are running

Readable does not mean permissionless.

Some skills can run scripts, inspect projects, call local APIs, or coordinate external AI providers. Read each skill's triggers, prerequisites, mutation boundaries, and verification rules. Never add tokens, databases, logs, or private project material to a public skill folder. Publication makes the files inspectable; it does not create new rights beyond any license already included with the material.
